Subtitle: uses the 30 characters
Fix8/30 characters used.
22 characters unused. Fit one more keyword phrase in.

Freshness: release notes say something
FixGeneric notes: “The new version is here. We have added some performance improvements. …”
“Bug fixes and improvements” tells existing users nothing. Name what changed: it is free re-engagement copy shown in the Updates tab.

What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
4 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.
