The 3 fixes worth the most altitude
Ordered by how many points each one adds to the score. Start at the top.
- 1+4
Subtitle: adds new keywords
FixRepeats title words: “sync”, “google”.
Apple counts a word once across title, subtitle and keyword field. Replace “sync”, “google” with words you do not rank for yet.
- 2+3
Freshness: release notes say something
FixGeneric notes: “* Further optimized for iOS 27”
“Bug fixes and improvements” tells existing users nothing. Name what changed: it is free re-engagement copy shown in the Updates tab.
- 3+2
Description: opens with a tight hook
ImproveFirst paragraph is 35 characters.
Lead with one clear benefit sentence. It is the only part most visitors read.
Keyword map
What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
4 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.
Storefront
10 of 10 screenshot slots used
The first three do most of the selling: they appear directly in search results. Read them as a stranger would, in two seconds.

Metadata Studio checks character limits, wasted words and keyword coverage as you type.
Audit of the public listing as of today. The hidden 100-character keyword field cannot be read from outside App Store Connect, so it is not scored.
