The 6 fixes worth the most altitude
Ordered by how many points each one adds to the score. Start at the top.
- 1+4
Title: uses the 30 characters
Improve23/30 characters used.
The title is the heaviest ranking field. You have 7 characters unused: add your strongest keyword after the name, e.g. “Summary - AI N: <main keyword>”.
- 2+4
Title: carries a keyword, not only a brand
ImproveKeyword part: “AI Note Taker”.
Nobody searches for a name they have never heard of. Append what the app does in the words people type (“Habit Tracker”, “Budget Planner”).
- 3
Freshness: release notes say something
FixGeneric notes: “Here are the new features of AI Summary: - UI/UX Improvements - Genera…”
“Bug fixes and improvements” tells existing users nothing. Name what changed: it is free re-engagement copy shown in the Updates tab.
Keyword map
What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
2 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.
Storefront
9 of 10 screenshot slots used
The first three do most of the selling: they appear directly in search results. Read them as a stranger would, in two seconds.
