Subtitle: adds new keywords
FixRepeats title words: “old”, “photo”, “restore”.
Apple counts a word once across title, subtitle and keyword field. Replace “old”, “photo”, “restore” with words you do not rank for yet.
- 2+2
Freshness: updated recently
ImproveLast update 47 days ago.
Apps that ship regularly get re-crawled and keep their ranking. Aim for an update every 4 to 6 weeks, even a small one.
- 3+2
Description: opens with a tight hook
ImproveFirst paragraph is 320 characters.
Only about three lines show before “more”. Put the single strongest benefit in the first 170 characters.
Keyword map
What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
7 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.

The first three do most of the selling: they appear directly in search results. Read them as a stranger would, in two seconds.
