Title: uses the 30 characters
Fix8/30 characters used.
The title is the heaviest ranking field. You have 22 characters unused: add your strongest keyword after the name, e.g. “E.L.M.O.: <main keyword>”.
- 3+8
Title: carries a keyword, not only a brand
FixTitle is the name alone.
Nobody searches for a name they have never heard of. Append what the app does in the words people type (“Habit Tracker”, “Budget Planner”).
Keyword map
What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
No keywords found in the title or subtitle.
0 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.
Storefront
4 of 10 screenshot slots used
The first three do most of the selling: they appear directly in search results. Read them as a stranger would, in two seconds.

Metadata Studio checks character limits, wasted words and keyword coverage as you type.
Audit of the public listing as of today. The hidden 100-character keyword field cannot be read from outside App Store Connect, so it is not scored.
