Freshness: release notes say something
FixGeneric notes: “This release includes bug fixes and performance improvements.”
“Bug fixes and improvements” tells existing users nothing. Name what changed: it is free re-engagement copy shown in the Updates tab.
- 2+2
Subtitle: adds new keywords
ImproveRepeats title words: “english”.
Apple counts a word once across title, subtitle and keyword field. Replace “english” with words you do not rank for yet.
- 3+2
Description: opens with a tight hook
ImproveFirst paragraph is 326 characters.
Only about three lines show before “more”. Put the single strongest benefit in the first 170 characters.
Keyword map
What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
5 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.

The first three do most of the selling: they appear directly in search results. Read them as a stranger would, in two seconds.
