The 5 fixes worth the most altitude
Ordered by how many points each one adds to the score. Start at the top.
- 1+7
Title: uses the 30 characters
Fix12/30 characters used.
The title is the heaviest ranking field. You have 18 characters unused: add your strongest keyword after the name, e.g. “Photo Editоr: <main keyword>”.
- 2+3
Title: carries a keyword, not only a brand
ImproveTitle is the name alone.
Nobody searches for a name they have never heard of. Append what the app does in the words people type (“Habit Tracker”, “Budget Planner”).
- 3+2
Subtitle: adds new keywords
ImproveRepeats title words: “photo”.
Apple counts a word once across title, subtitle and keyword field. Replace “photo” with words you do not rank for yet.

What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
5 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.

Metadata Studio checks character limits, wasted words and keyword coverage as you type.
Audit of the public listing as of today. The hidden 100-character keyword field cannot be read from outside App Store Connect, so it is not scored.
