What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
Indexedtitle + subtitle
5 unique words. Apple combines them, so “budget” and “planner” also rank for “budget planner”.

- Uses the 30 characters22/30 characters used. The title is the heaviest ranking field. You have 8 characters unused: add your strongest keyword after the name, e.g. “HMU - Make New: <main keyword>”.Improve
- Carries a keyword, not only a brandKeyword part: “Make New Friends”.Nobody searches for a name they have never heard of. Append what the app does in the words people type (“Habit Tracker”, “Budget Planner”).Improve
- No wasted wordsContains filler: “new”.Words like “new” are indexed for free or carry no intent. Swap them for a real keyword.Fix

Metadata Studio checks character limits, wasted words and keyword coverage as you type.
Audit of the public listing as of today. The hidden 100-character keyword field cannot be read from outside App Store Connect, so it is not scored.
