Ordered by how many points each one adds to the score. Start at the top.
- 1+3
Freshness: release notes say something
FixGeneric notes: “Bug Fixes & Improvements”
“Bug fixes and improvements” tells existing users nothing. Name what changed: it is free re-engagement copy shown in the Updates tab.
- 2+2
Subtitle: adds new keywords
ImproveRepeats title words: “pets”.
Apple counts a word once across title, subtitle and keyword field. Replace “pets” with words you do not rank for yet.
- 3+2
Reach: localised listing
Improve5 languages.
Each localisation adds a new title, subtitle and 100-character keyword field. Even without translating the app, localise the listing for ES, DE, FR, PT-BR and JA.

What Apple indexes, and what it ignores
On iOS, only the title, subtitle and hidden keyword field count for search. The description does not. Words you only mention there are invisible.
